Apply hosts occasional meetings around the UK. Upcoming meetings will be announced on the Apply site homepage and through the mailing lists.
In 2009, members of Apply convened workshops for UK anthropology postgraduate students interested in careers in applied anthropology. Workshops were at UCL, Durham and Aberdeen. Although we do not have funding to run more workshops ourselves, we are very happy to assist others in doing so. To that end you will find the workshop packs available for download here. If you are interested in using the materials, please contact the original convenors: R.Gooberman-Hill(at)bristol.ac.uk; kathryn(at)fiskur.com; fiona.harris1(at)stir.ac.uk.

Applications of Anthropology seminar series
Applications of Anthropology was a series of three ESRC-funded workshops, convened in collaboration with the ASA and CSAP. The first was a conference exploring the different ways anthropologists make use of their skills in industry, development, the NHS and in the media. The second explored the training needs of anthropologists working outside the academy, and the third explored examples of existing and possible future training programmes.
