Publishers
19-22 June 2014, Edinburgh
More than 600 anthropologists from the UK and beyond are expected to attend this event. We are offering publishers the
opportunity to have a presence at this conference, and hence publicise their
books and journals to relevant academics from around the globe.
The publisher display area will be situated right by one of the welcome desks, and the presentation rooms.
Publishers can choose one or more of the following options:
Single display table (~1.8m x 0.8m) - including abstract book and full access to panels & events. Charge - 250 pounds.
Double display table (~3.6m x 0.8m) - including abstract book and full access to panels & events. Charge - 400 pounds.
Full page portrait advert in abstract book – to be submitted as a
300dpi black and white TIF, by 07/05/14.
Dimensions for single page ad:
170mm (width) x 240mm (height) with 3mm bleed on all sides. Please keep text minimum 10mm from the edge.
Dimensions for double page ad: 340mm (width) x 240mm (height) with 3mm bleed on all sides. Please keep text minimum 10mm from the edge.
Charge - £180 per page.
Please note:
- we do NOT offer unstaffed displays - experience shows that you do not get to really market your company, but simply lose your stock. We would have to pay a student to mind your stand, so the cost would rise, and while very able, they are not trained in marketing or grounded in your company profile. Come along and meet your client base!
- we do NOT offer insertion of ads/catalogues in delegate packs - experience shows that the clutter in a delegate bag is quickly junked, and rarely into a recycling bin.. Ads which are printed in our conference book will not be thrown away, and so will have a longer shelf-life; while this will also have environmental benefits.
- when booking display table(s), please email the staff names for badge/access purposes.
