Call for papers
Paper proposers need not be members of the Association. Proposals should consist of a paper title, a (very) short abstract of <300 characters, and an abstract of 250 words. These character/word limits are strict, so please prepare your abstracts well. Papers may be proposed by a single person/author or by a single author on behalf of one or more co-authors. In the latter case, proposals should include the names and emails of the co-convenors. The form does not take formatting - so do not try to insert bullets, bold, italics, etc.
Once submitted the proposer will receive an automated email confirming receipt of the submission. Proposals will be marked as pending, until the convenors mark it otherwise. If you are asked to edit your abstract by the convenors, use the Login link on the site, along with your name and date of bith, in order to access your proposal. Any problems email conference(at)theasa.org.
To propose a paper
Please browse the list of accepted panels and propose a paper directly to the panel you are interested in. As you are only able to present one paper during the conference, we would ask that you try to limit the number of proposals you make - if possible to a single proposal.
Paper proposers can use the login link in the menu at the top of the page to edit their proposals; the status of the paper (pending/accepted/rejected/transfer) is also shown there. Co-authors cannot be added/removed nor can papers be withdrawn through this environment - please email conference(at)theasa.org to do this.
