ASA Monographs and other publications

This is a complete list of our publications to date. Latest publications towards the bottom of the page. Members are reminded that they are entitled to purchase some of these volumes at a discount. Orders should be directed to the publishers and not the ASA:

  • ASA Monographs 1-12 and 23-, ASA Research Methods 3- are published by Routledge.
  • ASA Monographs 13-22 and ASA Research Methods 1-2 are published by Academic Press.
  • The ASA Monographs 1-10 are also available in digital form on CD from the ASA administrator: click here to order.
  • ASA Essays are published by ISHI: UK and European sales are now handled by Eurospan Ltd., 3 Henrietta Street, London, WC2E 8LU.
  • ASA Studies. Originally published by Malaby Press. Volumes 1 and 3 are out of print. Volume 2 has been reissued by Tavistock.

The monograph from ASA04 came out in June 06; monographs from ASA03 and ASA05 in April 07; the ASA06 monograph came out in 2008; and the monograph from ASA07 will come out in early 2010. The ASA08 monograph will follow swiftly on its heels.

The most recent Berg monographs are also available as PDF e-books through a number of distributors that have institutions and libraries as their main market. This PDF format is not compatible with personal e-book devices, and are therefore not sold via Amazon. See Berg's site for more info.
