ASA Membership Application Form

Application form

The ASA offers membership to persons of academic standing who, by virtue of their training, posts held and published works can be recognised as professional social anthropologists. Nominations and applications are considered by the committee and referred to the Association AGM if there are any doubts/queries, according to the Rules of Procedure of the Association.

Complete ALL the questions below

The questions on this form are designed to enable you to show that you are qualified for membership (see Eligibility, repeated at bottom of the page). We ask about fieldwork because in some marginal cases it is taken to be a deciding factor. Please complete all fields in the form - lack of necessary details may result in an application being turned down.  Please try and gather all the necessary info before attempting to complete this form.  Thanks.

The form is currently being re-coded. If interested in membership please email admin(AT)theasa.org and we will get in touch directly.
